Best city for exhibits? London, again (although Brexit)

First of all London, but also Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol: Cvent Destination Index, a ranking of the top 25 cities for meetings and events in Europe confirms that Brexit isn't influencing investments in UK Exhibition industry.

The cloud-based enterprise event management company, Cvent, revealed its latest annual ranking of the top 25 cities for meetings and events in EMEA. Activity was tracked from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 and the ranking was then determined by a set of qualifying criteria consisting of: - Unique Request for Proposals Received

- Total Room Nights - Awarded Request for Proposals - Awarded Room Nights - Percentage of Qualified Meeting Venues - Number of Profile Views Cvent’s Top 10 cities in EMEA for 2017 are: 1) London, England 2) Barcelona, Spain 3) Berlin, Germany 4) Amsterdam, Netherlands 5) Paris, France 6) Madrid, Spain 7) Frankfurt, Germany 8) Rome, Italy 9) Munich, Germany 10) Prague, Czech Republic UK's cities are continuing to grow in popularity: Birmingham and Manchester have reached No. 19 and No. 21 position, respectively, while Bristol has seen the biggest leap, reaching place No.39, up 22 places from last year.

"Meetings and events are critically important to the economy of cities of all sizes across the globe - said Kevin Fliess, Cvent's VP of marketing - While London has once again retained its No.1 position in this year’s top 25 EMEA list, it’s clear that competition is becoming fiercer.
